Mackenzie Chang Russell is a Scottish/Chinese filmmaker, born and raised in New York City. She graduated from Hunter College with a B.A. in Film Production and a minor in Theater. Her senior thesis film, Open House, gained recognition from the National Board of Review. She is now currently working on a short film she wrote and produced called Everything Goes Dark, which is fiscally sponsored by Film Independent.
